Come on down and unlock your brain power! The No Brainer Show is an outrageously entertaining one-hour event hosted in-person by best-selling Diary of a Wimpy Kid author Jeff Kinney! Audience members will be invited to join Jeff on stage and face off in brain-challenging game show-style events to support their local library! Expect an epically fun, family-friendly event that celebrates the latest Wimpy Kid book and explores the outer limits of the brain!

Evergreen, LWSD, and KCLS ebooks are now available for check out via Sora from Overdrive! Use ClassLink on the desktop of your computer to connect to Sora!!

Once there, be sure to edit your account settings in Sora and add KCLS to your available libraries. They have a much bigger ebook budget than I do!!  :-)

So many great books here and no long holds lists like at KCLS. You can download the Sora app to read on your mobile device or kindle!

Always be sure to start your research process and journey through ClassLink on the desktop of your school computer.

It is fantastic at remembering all of the proper logins and passwords to make the process SO much easier and quicker for you!

Need help finding just the right book? Here are some links to get you started. Please note that since we are a middle school library, not all books on these lists are right for every student. Check the age level recommendations and then a book that is right for you!

For starters... head to the Book Chat Channel on the EMS Library Teams site for hundreds of book suggestions from your fellow Evergreen students!! And, you can always ask the channel champions for suggestions! It is just a great spot to talk about books. :-)

Battle of the Books is a cooperative effort between Inglewood, Rose Hill, Kirkland, Finn Hill, Evergreen, Redmond, International Community, Kamiakin and Timberline Middle Schools. This program allows 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in each school to work together as a team and challenge other schools to correctly answer questions about the selected books. The goal is to encourage students at all reading levels to engage in teamwork while reading some of the best in children’s literature. Challenge questions are based on specific and factual information within the books.

If you are interested in Battle of the Books (AKA: BoB) for this year, we would love to have you join us!!
